Interestingly, almost anyone can grow the lotus plant and it can be seen spotted throughout Thailand in the most unassuming of places. With properties that not only relate to the practice of Buddhism, there are other uses for the regal lotus flower. Scientists have conducted extensive studies on the use of parts of the Lotus flower in modern medicine. It was found that the petals stem and roots were all significant in remedying certain conditions in the human body.
